We started our adventure by enabling users to top up their mobile credit using bitcoin. Mobile phone credit is extremely valuable for users as it is used for airtime, for data traffic and is increasingly used for mobile payments (also known as Mobile Carrier Billing) and remittance. During 2018 and 2019 we extended our mobile operators’ partnership coverage. Today Cryptorefills enables thousands of users to purchase mobile phone prepaid credit and data bundles using bitcoin and other crypto across 600 Mobile Operators and in over 200 countries.
